Took my parents along for tea time as they have never been here even though it is only 10 minutes away from home by car.
My 2nd time to visit Taipei Story house. This is a very nice spot. I like the design of the British style architecture that always make people feel like being to a scene in the Andersen fairy tale. I like to see the seasonal changes of nature, the trees and flowers hint people which season it is now. Just like the kapok flower blossom shows the arrival of the spring.
The house has been listed as historic site of Taipei and sponsored privately in 2003. Cultural exhitibions and musical performance are held regulaily here. There is a cozy teahouse next door and the menu is served by the Landis Hotel including weekend brunch, afternoon tea sets and french/ Chinese meal . The set dinner menu is quite good. I also like the outdoor sittings in the courtyard. Watch the story house under the warm afternoon sun in the winter, embrace the gentel breeze and enjoy a cup of coffee. How wonderful~~
